These Program teams, support all Compliance teams across the Enterprise and are accountable for design, governance, oversight and reporting. The Compliance Risk Manager Senior will support the Annual Compliance Plan (ACP) Program within the Enterprise Compliance Program Office (ECPO) and will interact with the Compliance Risk Assessment (RA) team. The actual onsite days are agreed upon between each employee and the employee's manager. Interviews are expected to be held in late September 2022.Purpose of JobWe are seeking a dedicated Compliance Risk Manager Senior - (Annual Compliance Plan) to work a hybrid schedule from one of our regional offices in San Antonio TX, Phoenix AZ, Plano TX, Tampa FL, Charlotte NC or Colorado Springs CO. Whilst some of these activities can be carried out virtually, you must be willing and able to travel and it may also involve some occasional overnight stays. This role will involve significant proactive engagement and communication with colleagues, staff and management throughout the organisation and beyond, so the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Business Management or a professional qualification in Risk/Business Continuity Management or substantial professional work experience in a Risk & Assurance role, incorporating significant Quality/Risk/Business Continuity Management. You will have either a Degree (2:2 or better) in a relevant subject i.e.

Coordination with NERC and UKRI leads on risk, assurance, insurance, business continuity etc.Coordination and communication regarding maintenance of relevant insurances arranged through the UKRI corporate insurance team.Preparation of regular risk and management system performance reports for the Senior Management Board, the BGS Board and NERC/UKRI as well as other external assurance review bodies.Development and continual improvement of Business Continuity and Incident Response planning, including liaison with staff and management to undertake impact analysis, preparation of documentation, and conduct emergency scenario stress testing of arrangements.

Management of external assessments associated with BGS’s ISO registrations, coordinating with staff and external certification bodies to ensure full scope of activities is addressed.Acting as a senior lead auditor within the BGS internal audit programme.Arranging and overseeing delivery of the BGS internal audit programme including scheduling, liaison with auditors, review of reports, follow-up of findings and actions to completion and audit close-out.Development and maintenance of BGS management systems and documentation, particularly for quality management, but also coordinating with other teams across BGS including those responsible for environment, safety, security and laboratories.Management of the BGS corporate risk register, liaising regularly with programme and project managers to identify, evaluate, monitor and review risks and associated mitigating actions.Your key responsibilities/duties will include:
